What's for suppper?

My Mom gave me this most wonderful little recipe last summer
and it has been enjoyed ever since!
Pot with enough water to cover your ears of corn.
a couple of tablespoons of vinegar
a couple of tablespoons of sugar (forgotten in picture)
place corn in cold water
put lid on pot ~ no peeking
turn the burner on HIGH
set your timer for 8 minutes
now here is the hard part ~ turn your burner off after 8 minutes,
Your corn is done!
You have to trust the process the first time and then you'll be sold on this method.
Enjoy!
