These little blooms are a surprise.A friend gave me the box with the amaryllis in it a couple of weeks ago. The plant was this tall (maybe 8") when I opened the box. It continued to bud but didn't get any taller, the buds just kept coming. At this point it has 8 blooms on it (plus the one that G knocked off for a total of 9). I've had amaryllis bulbs before but never one this small and full of blooms!
